Béni Mellal

Béni Mellal is a city in central Morocco located at the foot of the Middle Atlas, at the edge of the Tadla plain. With a population of around 200,000 inhabitants, it is the main city and the capital of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region. A city that experienced significant demographic growth during the second half of the 20th century, Beni Mellal took advantage of its status as administrative capital, the richness of its agricultural land, but also its new status as a university town.
